How it's made:  Sheet steel is dipped in a bath of pure molten zinc, forming zinc oxide. When zinc oxide reacts with carbon dioxide, zinc carbonate is formed. Zinc carbonate is the stuff that protects the steel from the elements, making it exceptionally water and weatherproof, so you don 't have to worry about rust. We cut the metal into strips to suit the height you're looking for, then cut a spiked pattern into one edge to make installation straightforward.
