Aluminium Angle 6063T6 is an angle shaped 6063 Aluminium Alloy. This alloy is commonly referred to as the architectural alloy.
Developed as an extrusion alloy, 6063 Aluminium Alloy has relatively high tensile properties, excellent finish characteristics and high corrosion resistance.
It is one of the best-suited alloys for anodizing applications including hard coat anodizing for air cylinder tubes.
Aluminium Round Tube 6082T6 is a round tubular shaped 6082 Aluminium Alloy. This alloy is in the wrought aluminium-magnesium-silicon family (6000 or 6xxx series). It is one of the more popular alloys in its series.
6082 Aluminium Alloy is typically formed by extrusion and rolling, but as a wrought alloy it is not used in casting. It can also be forged and clad, but that is not common practice with this alloy. It cannot be work hardened, but is commonly heat treated to produce tempers with a higher strength but lower ductility.
Hot-dip galvanising is the process of coating iron or steel with a thin zinc layer, by passing the steel through a molten bath of zinc at a temperature of around 860 °F (460 °C). When exposed to the atmosphere, pure zinc reacts with oxygen to form zinc oxide, which further reacts with carbon dioxide to form zinc carbonate, a dull grey, fairly strong material that stops further corrosion in many circumstances, protecting the steel below from the elements.
Galvanised steel is widely used in applications where rust resistance is needed, and can be identified by the crystallization patterning on the surface (often called a “spangle”)
Mild Steel Flat Bar Black S235/S275 is a flat shaped S235/S275 Black Mild Steel bar.
S235/S275 is an unalloyed low carbon mild steel grade supplied as hot rolled.
As a low carbon steel specification, S235/S275 provides low strength with good machinability and is suitable for welding.
