By cutting a triangular shark's tooth pattern into the metal, we've made installation simple – all you have to do is sink the points into the ground and you're good to go. That distinct coppery hue might look rusty, but the colour's actually down to an oxidisation process that protects the core from further corrosion. How it's made:  Corten steel is an alloy, which is why it is so weatherproof.
