Products to facilitate this can be bought from a garden centre. This will help prevent a build up of limescale. Each water table has 2 connections as standard, with 25mm inner tread. Introducing Neptune: a neat-easy-to-install water feature ready to transform your outdoor space. Crafted from high-quality Corten steel, this beautiful water feature looks good and is built to last. Corten steel starts life blue-grey in colour, and gradually 'weathers' to a vivid orange patina over several months. Although this new finish is the colour of rust, it actually protects the steel within from decay. Enjoy the sound of gently bubbling water as Neptune pumps it through a central, stainless steel nozzle. The water spreads evenly across the surface of the table and right to its edges, giving an infinity effect. After dark, the magic continues, thanks to LED lighting. Calming and stylish, Neptune makes a stunning addition to any garden, patio, courtyard or terrace. To prevent limescale, the pH of the water in this water feature should be 7 (neutral); products to ensure this can be bought from a garden centre. To avoid stains or irregular rust on the water table, it must be unpacked immediately after delivery so that any moisture between the packaging and the product is not sealed. During the weathering stage (6-9 months) 'run-off' may stain stone or concrete surfaces. Please bear this in mind when choosing where to position your water feature. Corten Steel weathering – how it works:

1. Please Note: Corten products can arrive at any stage of weathering. We cannot guarantee what level they will be or even if multiple items ordered at the same time will all be at the same level. Unweathered areas of your water table will be the colour of freshly manufactured steel, with a dark oily coating.
2. As your Corten Steel water feature begins to weather, the oily residue will break down.
3. Your water feature will begin to change gradually to uniform orange-brown. Please be aware that ‘run-off’ may stain stone or concrete surfaces and bear this in mind when deciding where to place your planter.
4. After 9 months, your water table should be almost entirely rust-coloured. Please be aware that run-off may still occur for several months after the uniform rust colour has been achieved.
